Born in 1975 in Gaza. Raed won the Qattan Foundation Prize in 2002; the theme of the winning “Fajeea’h” (catastrophe) project was Intifada and paintings of Palestinian martyrs. Raed had two solo exhibitions and participated in more than 20 group exhibitions.
Marwan Kassab Bachi wrote: “Raed’s works are closely related to a dialogue he has with the landscape surrounding him showing detail in choosing the shapes and shades of his colors. His works are whole units that explicitly reveal the artist’s viewpoint to the observer”.
